doublejo(H)ngrey write, record and produce their own unique brand of thoughtful dark electro-indie. The Manchester-based four piece have been playing together for five years, initially experimenting with electronic driven instrumental music. Key bands causing their formation and influencing their sound (make what you will) were and are: Sonic Youth, Add N to (X), Aphex Twin, Death in Vegas, Andy Weatherhall and DJ Shadow.

doublejo(H)ngrey's most recent releases are a 12-inch EP through Snazzy Records, a CD mini-album through Valentine Records and a CD/Mp3 EP. The band record their own material (and occasionally remix that of others) out of their Stockport-based studio, incorporating sounds from many sources including acoustic instruments, sequencing, samples, synthesizers and guitars.

doublejo(H)ngrey have played live sets at eclectic nights ranging from late-night club sets and traditional band nights to art gallery openings. Their frantic live sets go down well with lovers of techno/electro, punk, rock and prog alike.
